Prototype casting forms made of laminated wood sheeting, partially reinforced with steel sections, are the simplest models for producing individual parts or prototypes. The possible yield is about 5-10 cast parts with very coarse blank tolerances.

Prototype casting form
Small series form
In addition to laminated wood sheeting and steel sections for rigidity, the inner sides of the small series form are clad with aluminium plates. This results in a service life for 20 to 30 castings at somewhat better tolerances than with the simple wooden model.
Dual form
In order to achieve the highest possible accuracy with blanks for the upper side of the frame, the bottom plate of the dual cast form is already completely made of steel. The side walls are wood and can be clad with aluminium plates.
Series form
In order to achieve the highest possible accuracy (lower tenth of a millimeter range) with blanks, as well as guaranteed yields of 500 cast parts, all walls and contoured parts in the series casting form are made of steel or monocast parts. Optimum assembly times as well as good blank surfaces are possible with series forms.
Suitable moulding jigs
Assembly surfaces for compact guides, bearings, drives and dimensions of the order of accuracy up to 0.005/500 mm can be manufactured using high precision jigs without machining. The jigs are optimised for rigidity by means of FEM calculations.
Devices
Mineral cast or metal components are aligned to one another prior to highly precise assemblies or bonding by means of special devices.
